Your information
Last updated October 13, 2026
SHAMAR Men is a ministry app. We collect only what it needs to work, we never sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Your sign-in. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address (or an Apple private relay address, if you choose to hide yours), an account identifier from Apple or Google, and your name if you choose to share it. We don’t receive or store a password.
- Your profile. The name you show to other men and your time zone, so the Watch arrives on your day.
- Your membership. Your role in the ministry, whether your account is approved, and the Gibbor Group you belong to. Other men in your group see your name, never your email.
- Records of administrative changes. When a ministry leader approves an account or changes a role, we keep a record of who did it and when.
Your Bible translation choice stays on your phone.
What we don’t collect
No location, no contacts, no photos, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics or tracking tools. We don’t record which devotionals you read.
Where it’s kept
Your information is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and is sent only over encrypted connections. Sign-in sessions are stored in a form that can’t be used to sign in if they’re ever exposed.
Who sees it
Ministry leaders who manage the app can see members’ names, email addresses, roles, and account status. We share information with no one else, except where the law requires it.
Deleting your account
To delete your account and the information tied to it, email support@shamarmen.app from the address you sign in with, and we’ll confirm once it’s done. If you signed in with Apple, you can also stop using Apple sign-in for SHAMAR Men in your Apple ID settings.
Children
SHAMAR Men is made for men and isn’t directed to children under 13.
